Aaliyah Golden-Whitehead (12) plays the bass at the orchestra concert on Nov. 9 for their first concert of the year. She finished her playing with her chamber group before getting ready for her next performance with the symphony group. “I was a little nervous because we don’t get to play with the band very often. We get about a rehearsal once a month. So I was nervous, but I think it turned really well,” Golden-Whitehead said.
