Kevin Vazquez, Photo Editor
Kevin Vazquez, a senior, was born and raised in Mexico City, D.F. When he was 11-years-old, he moved to a completely different country learning a different language and having completely different routines.
During his sophomore, junior and senior years he has been on the yearbook staff and now he is the Photo Editor. Vazquez has won two National Awards for one of the pictures he made:honorable mention for KEMPA and 2nd place for Quill & Scroll.
“I can’t believe it, it just makes me feel proud of myself,” Vazquez said. “Looking back on the life I had back in Mexico, I would've never imagined to get this far.”
Vazquez loves music, specifically from the 80’s. He plays guitar and has a band of his own. He also fell for photography after experiencing it during his time on the yearbook staff. Soccer is a sport he has been following very closely since he was just a kid. His favorite team is FC Barcelona and his favorite player is Lionel Messi.
