With a swing and the crack of the ball, Alexis Joy (10) starts practice on the driving range on Sept. 19. “I played golf since I was four or five and then played up until I was about 11, and then I quit for a few years,” Joy said. “Then when I started high school, I decided to go out for the team.” Having a long history with the sport, Joy revealed the origin of her passion for golf. “It kind of just runs in my family, so that’s kind of how it all started, then I just enjoyed it,” she said. “I continue to motivate myself by saying that if I want to get better I have to keep practicing and playing.”

Brenna Jasniewski, Editor-in-Chief
Brenna Jasniewski, a senior, is in her second year of yearbook. Working as Editor in Chief, she has found her love and interest in design. Though Jasniewski has always had an interest in design, she never took that step of trying it out until now. Not only is it design but it’s writing, interviewing, and so much more.
Jasniewski has worked at a little bakery franchise, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and is now currently employed as a manager at Claires. She's taken part in the honor roll year after year and continues to take her grades seriously.
In her free time she enjoys reading, singing, spending time with family and friends, and playing volleyball. She plans on attending University of Wisconsin- Whitewater and Majoring in Accounting while minoring in psychology.
