Dayon McKnight, sophomore, is in his first year on the yearbook publication. 

McKnight has been passionate about journalism since middle school and has always been a fan of politics. He’s been writing since the 2016 election, among other media as a pre-teen.       

McKnight is also a member of student council and has been a key part in advocating for what’s right.

In his free time, McKnight likes traveling, hanging out with friends, and working on his debate skills.

He hopes to gain admission to Albany State University when he applies to colleges.            

“I’m a representative for the people, always,” McKnight said.
