Maggie Zhang, a senior and first year staffer on The Blaze, works as a reporter and a photographer.

Zhang is a part of her school’s Youth Apprenticeship and works in a hospital as an aid. Her interest in photography and journalism came from curiosity as this is a dive into the unknown for her, as she doesn’t have any experience in this field. 

Her hobbies outside of school consist of graphic design, painting, reading and an addiction to caffeine due to work.

While the future is unclear for Zhang, she does know she wants to try many different things before heading off to college for a degree in the medical field.   

“I want to try something new at least once,” Zhang said. “I want to have skill not only for the job I want, but also in different fields to build experiences.”
