Stephanie Perez, Copy Editor
Stephanie Perez, senior, is in her first year participating with The Blaze Yearbook, working as copy editor. She is also copy editor with The Pulse Newspaper, where she also writes, illustrates and takes photos.
Always feeling passionate about journalism and voicing the opinions of others and herself, she is pursuing her passion for journalism in college. With the goal in mind to write stories and give a voice to those who need it.
With an everlasting love of film and reading, she finds herself watching Marvel and Star Wars films as well as reading books by authors such as Colleen Hoover and Leigh Bardugo. She also spends her time listening to music and writing.
Being in both of these school publications, Perez is also a fourth year student in the Communications Academy where she has learned to use Adobe softwares such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
Working hard and putting detail into every project she takes on is something that is very important to her and she makes sure to use those principles with every part of her life.
