Juliette Cesarone, Yearbook/Podcast Staff

Juliette Cesarone, junior, is in her first year as a photojournalist and reporter for The Blaze yearbook, as well as a new member of Hawk Talk Podcast Network. She found her love for photography at a young age. She was first intrigued after discovering her father had a passion for photography. Cesarone decided to follow in his footsteps and join the journalism track in the Communications Academy. Cesarone finds it therapeutic to surround herself in nature, finding it to be a calming place when things get hard. During Cesarone’s downtime, she also likes to dress up to photograph eye-catching shots with her friends. “At the end of the day, you’re all you’ve got. Focus on yourself, and let everything else fall into place.” Cesarone said.

Ivonne Delvale-Vera, Podcast Staff

Ivonne Delvale-Vera, junior, is a part of the podcasting staff. This is her first year in publications. Ivonne co-hosts the podcast “The Vanished Truth” along with her friends Juliette Cesarone and Aneesa Martinez. Ivonne chose the podcasting route as she has always had an interest in storytelling and production. She has loved horror and true crime since childhood, which led her to easily choose the topic of her shared podcast on true crime around the world. She figured that podcasting alongside her friends who share the same interest would be perfect. Outside of podcasting and school, Ivonne enjoys going to the gym and watching her favorite movies/shows. She stays busy reading and spending time with her family.

Aneesa Martinez, Podcast Staff

Aneesa Martinez, junior, is in her first year of podcasting. She is working on her first episode of her podcast, The Vanished Truth with her co-hosts Juliette and Ivonne. Martinez’s passion for podcasting began way back in her childhood where she and her cousin would vlog, and talk about topics that would happen on YouTube. In her free time, Martinez listens to Crime Junkies while she gets ready for school and work. She also loves watching true documentaries on Netflix and youTube about popular cold cases. She hopes she and her co-hosts can continue their podcast after high school and go to college to major in criminology. “I love researching and learning about true crime and one day I want that as a full time job,” Martinez said.
