Jayden Kimpel, Design Editor
Jayden Kimpel is in her fourth and final year at Indian Trail High School’s Communications Academy. This is her second year in a publication, working as design editor for The Blaze Yearbook and copy editor for The Pulse Newspaper.
Besides journalism, Kimpel is devoted to choir, which she has participated in since fifth grade. She is also the Division One Lieutenant Governor for WI-UM Key Club, and an active member of National Honor Society.
In her free time, Kimpel is usually found at her laptop, either writing stories, or scrolling through social media. She also likes to read in her spare time and spend time with her friends, just like every average teenager does. Kimpel is also an avid Twilight fan, and will talk about both the books and films for hours on end.
Kimpel looks forward to the rest of the 2021-22 year, and while undecided on which college to attend, she hopes to pursue a degree in journalism in the near future.
