Lizzett Barrera, senior, is in the Communications Academy and her second year on staff and her first year in her current role of photo editor for The Blaze.
Barrera takes part in the digital media pathway and doing so takes advantage of the skills that she has learned. Barrera participated in the photography community in her church which families use for baptisms, weddings and quinceañera.
Barrera is set on majoring in communications and a minor is Spanish.
“I’m really glad I get to be part of a family where our memories can be frozen in time,” Barrera said.
