Savannah Cooks, Copy Editor
Savannah Cooks, senior, is in her fourth year in the Communications Academy and first year on The Blaze Yearbook as copy editor. She is also in her second year in The Pulse Newspaper as entertainment editor.
Cooks spends a great deal of time writing. It is a passion of hers she’s been working on since she was in fifth grade. She also spends time drawing, her preferred method is realism. When she is not writing or drawing, she is watching movies and T.V. shows and spends time analyzing their plots. She is a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as other Marvel publications.
She won two awards from KEMPA Journalism in her first year on The Pulse; an ‘Excellent’ award for her “Red Queen restores love in reading” and an Honorable Mention for her “Falcon and Winter Soldier.”
Through working for her high school publications, she looks forward to majoring in journalism in college and pursuing a career in the field.
