The referee closely monitors a potential pin during the wrestling match against Case High School as Athanasios Hammerbeck (12) fights to keep the opponent down during the match. Going into this, Hammerbeck was very confident that he would win. “I know I’m stronger, have better cardio and am a better wrestler than most people I wrestle,” Hammerbeck said. This match ended with him beating the opponent by 15 points.

Juliette Cesarone, junior, is in her first year as a photojournalist and reporter for The Blaze yearbook, as well as a new member of Hawk Talk Podcast Network.
She found her love for photography at a young age. She was first intrigued after discovering her father had a passion for photography. Cesarone decided to follow in his footsteps and join the journalism track in the Communications Academy.
Cesarone finds it therapeutic to surround herself in nature, finding it to be a calming place when things get hard. During Cesarone’s downtime, she also likes to dress up to photograph eye-catching shots with her friends.
“At the end of the day, you’re all you’ve got. Focus on yourself, and let everything else fall into place.” Cesarone said.
